Join us for a Chicago Chocolate Tour, and enjoy a guided walking and tasting tour to select chocolate shops, bakeries, and cafes, including secret chocolate treasures, plus famous favorites!

We tour all year round, 52 weeks a year, and our tours are exciting and inviting. Public tours are $40 per person (please see below for schedules), and private tours are also available.

Enjoying a Chicago Chocolate Tour
A Chicago Chocolate Tour is a fun and educational 2 1/2 to 3 hour guided walking and tasting tour of select chocolate shops, bakeries, and cafes, including traditional and non-traditional chocolate locations. You'll visit some of Chicago's most popular chocolate stores, and some of the city's secret chocolate treasures, as you delve deeply into the rich history of chocolate and discover chocolate in expected as well as surprising places.

Learn about fine chocolates, the world history of chocolate, and Chicago’s beautiful architecture as you savor the flavors, and walk off the calories!

The cost is $40 for a public tour. Private tour info is below, and group rates are available.

 

 

 

What are the chocolate tour routes and schedules?

Mondays at 12:45 pm - Chocolate Locations of the Downtown Loop: Sarah's Pastries and Candies at Macy's State Street, Frango - Loop, Charbonnel at Macy's, Wow Bao, ~New~ FM Artisan Chocolates at Fannie May, Argo - Marquette. Meet at the old Marshall Field's / Macy's at 111 N. State Street, by the information desk on the ground floor by the fountain. Walking level: Easy. (Note: the first stops are boutiques or areas located inside the old Marshall Field's / Macy's building, so this route is particularly wonderful if you're looking to spend time indoors, such as due to weather or mobility.)

Tuesdays at 2:45 pm - Chocolate Locations of the Magnificent Mile and Gold Coast: Teuscher Chocolates, More Cupcakes, Hendrickx Belgian Bread Crafters, Sarah's Pastries and Candies - Oak Street, Argo - Gold Coast. Meet at the information desk inside at 900 N. Michigan Avenue. Walking level: Easy. 

Wednesdays at 2:45 pm - Chocolate Locations of the Magnificent Mile and Gold Coast: More Cupcakes, Culture Yogurt (in summer), Hendrickx Belgian Bread Crafters, Sarah's Pastries and Candies - Oak Street, ~New~ Candyality - Water Tower, Argo - Gold Coast. Meet at the information desk inside at 900 N. Michigan Avenue. Walking level: Easy. 

Wednesdays at 5:45 pm - Chocolate Locations of the South Loop: Panozzo's Italian Market, Flirty Cupcakes, Culture Yogurt (summer), ~New~ Chocolate Buddha at House of Sole, Sky Grocer. Meet at Panozzo's, 1303 S. Michigan Avenue. Walking level: Easy.

Chocolate Shops of Geneva, IL:

This lovely tour runs the third Wednesday of every month at 10:45 am and 2:45 pm. Meet outside Graham's Fine Chocolates, 302 S. 3rd Street. Advance registration, please.

How much does a Chicago Chocolate Tour cost?
