1. General/Operations Manager
Chicago Chocolate Tours seeks someone with office or managerial experience, who is detail-focused, highly organized, an expert in office skills, and loves working with people and helping them all move in the same direction. Oversee other operations team members, and report directly to president. Room for advancement within the organization includes the possibility of working with our other cities as well as with our Chicago operations.
Work includes:
- Maintain our schedule of chocolate tours for the public and for private groups.
- Schedule customers for chocolate tours, and schedule tourguides to lead the tours.
- Liaise with our Weekend Manager and other team members, following our systems to make sure operations run smoothly.
- Reply to phone and email inquiries, to book tours and answer questions.
- Make sure Tourguides have necessary supplies.
- Keep office materials and documents organized online and offline.
- Process credit cards and send receipts.
- Handle other duties that arise for a busy, growing company.
You:

- Are an Independent Contractor and can set your own flexible hours, doing some work from home.

Terms:
You'll be an independent contractor with a flexible schedule, and some work can be done from home or offsite. There is opportunity for advancement within the organization.

2. Business Development Manager
Chicago Chocolate Tours seeks someone with sales and marketing experience, who would like to sell "the sweetest tours in town!"
Do you love chocolate, and love people? Are you highly motivated? Are you excited about working in the tourism and hospitality industry and making people happy every day? Our entrepreneurial team is looking for YOU!
You'll oversee other marketing team members, and report directly to our president.
Objectives:
- Handle inbound sales, when groups contact us to inquire about tours.
- Handle outbound sales, by reaching out to our lists of prospects, and generating new lists of prospects, to invite them to book chocolate tours.
- Contact at least 100 people per week, and as momentum builds start booking 2 tours per week, then 5, and then 10.
- Meet weekly to go over lists of people contacted, results, and next steps.
You:
- Love chocolate.
- Love people.
- Have great phone and email skills.
- Are self-motivated and also work well with a warm, fun, professional team.
- Are highly organized.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Are an Independent Contractor and can set your own flexible hours.
Terms: For outbound work, receive a 15% commission on tours booked (and lots of chocolate of course). You'd be an independent contractor with a flexible schedule, and some work can be done from home.
Additional avenues of income: sell our Boston and Philadelphia tours too.

3. Tourguides Calling all actresses: get paid to eat chocolate! What: Chicago Chocolate Tours is looking for energetic and outgoing actresses to join our fun team. Lead tours to Chicago's best chocolate shops and bakeries, and get paid $40 per tour plus tips and bonuses. When: You'll have a flexible part-time schedule as an independent contractor, and you'll choose which dates you want to work. Private and public tours run weekdays and weekends, and our public tour schedule is at www.chicagochocolatetours.com/tours. Skills: You have style and an attractive image, love chocolate and love people, and can memorize scripts and information quickly. You can perform with pep and enthusiasm, and are outgoing, with no stage fright.
